Steve Gibson over at Gibson Research Corp. (GRC) has written a nice simple utility to check on your Meltdown and Spectre vulnerability status. 

It lets you know if your Windows OS updating efforts have been sufficient to protect you against the CPU exploits. 

Here is a link to his InSpectre utility that does not require anything more than downloading and running the program. No installation necessary, just run it.
